Server / Bartender – Ramen Restaurant

Position: Server / Bartender
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Location: Dallas, TX
Pay: Competitive pay plus tips, based on experience

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Server/Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent guest service, take accurate food and drink orders, prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and create a welcoming dining experience. We are looking for someone who can multitask, communicate effectively, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, explain menu items, and provide recommendations for ramen, appetizers, and beverages.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, sake, soju, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to restaurant standards.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, drink recipes, specials, and promotions.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to questions or concerns professionally.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately.
• Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly.
• Maintain clean and organized tables, bar areas, and service stations.
• Restock glassware, garnishes, mixers, utensils, and other service supplies.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service procedures.
• Verify guest identification and follow applicable Texas alcohol laws, including refusing service when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous serving or bartending experience preferred.
• Experience with cocktails, beer, sake, or soju is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy shifts.
• Reliable, punctual, professional, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable using a POS system and handling payments.
• Must meet applicable Texas age requirements for alcohol service.
• Must obtain or maintain any required Texas alcohol-service certification and permits.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine restaurant duties.
