About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Global Privacy to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive global privacy strategy, governance, and compliance framework. The successful candidate will be a senior leader with a J.D. degree and over 15 years of experience in privacy, data protection, legal, compliance, or risk management. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all business activities involving personal data are conducted ethically and in accordance with international laws, regulations, and industry standards. The Vice President, Global Privacy will also be responsible for fostering a culture of privacy-by-design across all business functions worldwide and will serve as a key advisor to the General Counsel and other senior executives on global privacy, data protection, and responsible data use. Applicants for the Vice President, Global Privacy position at the company should have a strong background in privacy and data protection, with a focus on driving privacy initiatives and compliance. The role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage and mitigate privacy risks, as well as lead a team in the execution of privacy programs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of global privacy laws and regulations, and experience in implementing privacy-by-design practices. A proactive approach to privacy issues, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and educate stakeholders at all levels are essential. The company is open to a global search for top talent and is flexible in terms of the candidate's location, with the possibility of remote work and regular travel.
