Job Description
Registered Nurse - Medical Observation

Schedule

NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 hours per week. 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

Assignment Details

Contract Duration: 16 weeks.

Requirements

• Active NY RN License
• AHA BLS certification
• NIH certification
• 1 year recent experience in acute med surg/tele
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
• 2 years recent experience in acute med surg/tele preferred
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical observation unit
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Provide education and support to patients and families

Compliance / Notes
