Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Service
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Wilmington, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; report access control issues and suspicious activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer Service Experience preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience preferred.
- Loss Prevention preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
