Senior Account Manager, Life Sciences (Los Angeles)

Senior Account Manager responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key life science research accounts, driving customer satisfaction and sales of QIAGEN products and services across academia and industry in the Los Angeles and Orange County territory.
Responsibilities
- Enhance customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships with key accounts
- Develop and execute sales strategy across QIAGEN product portfolio
- Sell life science research products and services to academic and industrial customers
- Cultivate internal networks with supply chain, manufacturing, product development, and support teams
- Spend 80%+ of time in field conducting customer meetings and business development
Requirements
- 5+ years directly related sales experience with proven track record
- 3+ years laboratory experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science minimum; graduate degree preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of sample purification, PCR, dPCR, and next-generation sequencing
- Ability to sell and build relationships at executive levels within organizations
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel with overnight stays required
- Based in Los Angeles and Orange County territory
Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 base plus commission and benefits
