About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry / IMC / Step-Down

Location

Decatur, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours per week) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Telemetry / IMC / Step-Down specialty setting
• Manage and monitor ED border patients within the assigned specialty as needed
• Float between facilities within a defined local radius when census or staffing needs require, remaining within specialty
• Communicate effectively with care teams to ensure continuity and safety of patient care across units

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or a compact state license
• Prior experience in Telemetry, IMC, PCU, or Step-Down nursing
• Ability to float between facilities within a 15-mile radius as needed
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the primary facility location (no local travelers)
• All requested time off must be submitted prior to assignment start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for ED border or overflow patients in a step-down or IMC environment
• Familiarity with multi-facility health system workflows and protocols
