## Accounting ManagerLand & Shore CreativePosted about 16 hours agoSave this Listing---Part TimeNew York CityBrooklyn, New YorkRemote-friendly$35-$40/hr depending on experienceWe're seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our monthly accounting processes and provide accurate financial reporting to company leadership.This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working independently, improving financial processes, and providing meaningful insights that help drive business decisions.Key Responsibilities: Manage the monthly close out process and complete all bank and credit card reconciliations.Reconcile inter-company accounts and partner-related financial transactions.Review company expenses to ensure accurate coding and allocation across projects.Monitor project profitability and support reliable job costing. Review and maintain prepaid expense, depreciation, and fixed asset schedules.Maintain the company asset register and capital expenditure records.Identify and reclassify personal or partner-related expenses where required.Perform ongoing reviews of previous months to ensure financial accuracy.Prepare monthly cashflow reports and financial summaries for leadership.Update partner distribution schedules and assist with quarterly profit distributions.Provide financial analysis and profitability reporting as requested.Support the Operations team with general accounting advice and ad hoc financial tasks.Conduct quarterly self-audits to maintain accuracy across financial records and systems.What We're Looking For: 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in construction, architecture, or project-based businesses.Strong understanding of month-end close and financial reporting.Experience with QuickBooks Online.Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills.High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.Ability to work independently and meet monthly deadlines. Comfortable communicating financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Nice to Have: Experience with job costing and project profitability reporting.
