Cherry Picker / Forklift Operator - Warehouse


Position Summary


We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Cherry Picker / Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations. This position is responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment to pick, move, stage, and store products throughout the warehouse while maintaining accuracy and productivity.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Safely operate a cherry picker/order picker forklift to retrieve and place products at various warehouse levels.
Pick products accurately according to customer orders, pick tickets, or RF scanner instructions.
Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
Perform put-away and replenishment of inventory.
Use an RF scanner or warehouse management system to locate and track inventory.
Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
Maintain accurate inventory and picking records.
Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures while operating equipment.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report mechanical or safety issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Meet established productivity, accuracy, and quality standards.
Qualifications


Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred.
Experience operating a cherry picker/order picker is strongly preferred.
Ability to work safely at elevated heights.
Ability to read and understand warehouse labels, product numbers, and instructions.
Experience using RF scanners is a plus.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and move warehouse materials.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
Physical Requirements


Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to frequently bend, reach, squat, and climb.
Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
Ability to work at elevated heights while operating a cherry picker.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may include varying temperatures, noise, and moving equipment.

$17.00/hour
