This position is fully remote, providing flexibility to balance your professional and personal life while serving diverse clients throughout Austin, Texas. Although your work will be conducted remotely, we have a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration among counselors, ensuring you are supported and engaged with your colleagues and supervisory staff in the Community Health Clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of client needs to formulate tailored therapy strategies.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing specifically on their distinct challenges and experiences.

• Employ various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy based on client preference and clinical appropriateness.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients, integrating insights from various healthcare professionals.

• Accurately maintain clinical documentation and adhere to legal and ethical standards in your practice.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest trends and research in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients consist of individuals and families from diverse backgrounds who often face barriers to accessing quality mental health services. The range of mental health issues you will support includes anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship challenges. You will be instrumental in promoting mental wellness in underrepresented communities, ensuring that every client receives the compassionate care they deserve.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is essential.

• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards governing the practice of counseling.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software is highly beneficial.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
