PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Director of Media Sales & Partnerships, Americas is responsible for owning Avolta Advertising's commercial strategy andbuild for the region — across both the brand-direct and agency/holdco motions. This role will be responsible fordefining the go-to-market strategy and establish Avolta's presence with the region's most important brandsand agencies, and carry the regional commercial mandate from an early base. Avolta Advertising is the media and commercialization layer of the world's largest travel retail platform — 350+airports, 70+ markets, 2.8 billion travelers a year. We connect the world's leading brands and agencies totravelers at scale, with a CHF 100M+ revenue ambition and the backing to build a category-defining travelmedia business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Define and own the commercial strategy for the Americas across both brand-direct and agency/holdcomotions. Build Avolta's advertiser and agency portfolio in-region and set the go-to-market priorities that shape themarket. Own the regional revenue and partnership mandate and the senior relationships that drive it. Represent Avolta at senior levels with regional brand HQs, agency leadership, and travel-retailstakeholders. Shape the regional proposition, packaging, and pricing to market dynamics and traveler profiles, and feedthe region's perspective into global strategy. Work with global Product, Advertising Solutions, and delivery teams to convert strategy into outcomes. Act as the strategic commercial voice of the Americas back to global leadership.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

10+ years in media/advertising, with senior commercial and market-building experience in the Americas. A track record of building a market or business line and owning a significant regional revenue mandate. Command of both the brand-direct and agency/holdco ecosystems in-region. The judgment and autonomy to set strategy and build from an early base — entrepreneurial, senior, selfdirected. Executive-grade presence and senior-level relationships across the region. Travel retail or travel media experience, is a plus. An established senior network across Americas brands, agencies, and OOH/shopper media, is a plus.
