Program Director

Position Summary The YMCA of the East Valley is committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Under the direction of the Associate Executive Director, the Program Director is responsible for supporting YMCA operations through effective delivery of programs, services, and member engagement. This position contributes to the achievement of Association goals by promoting the YMCA mission, values, and strategic priorities while providing high-quality service to members, participants, staff, and the community. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of 3 years of YMCA experience or in a customer service field. Proven experience in managing people, programs, and budgets. Excellent human relation skills and an ability to maintain positive communication with staff and members Commitment to the mission and values of the YMCA Proven ability to build genuine relationships Results-driven mindset with the ability to analyze data and adjust strategies Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality. Proficiency in applicable technology, software, and systems.
