Business Development Representative | Automotive Join Epicor as a Business Development Representative! The Business Development Representative builds relationships, generates and cultivates business leads, and sets on‑site appointments for the outside sales team. Responsible for achieving quota on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Responsibilities Execute a diverse mix of cold outreach and respond to warm leads via phone, email, social media, etc. Identify prospects, prepare for prospecting, conduct prospecting, and hand off qualifying leads to the sales team. Engage mid‑sized to large businesses and relevant C‑Level roles. Deliver qualifying leads and cultivate new prospects to help the sales team achieve revenue objectives. Meet daily, weekly, monthly scorecard metrics such as calls scheduled, calls completed, qualified opportunities, and deals. Conduct market research to be followed up by Territory Managers. Continuously learn the applications, value proposition, and differentiation of Epicor products to enhance conversations. Enter data into the customer relationship management software. Qualifications Excellent phone voice, manner, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to field questions from prospects and customers about the company, products, services and implementation. Leadership experience or a desire to move into future leadership roles. Preferred telephone sales experience or solution selling in the software industry. Experience cultivating and managing existing leads in a sales pipeline through preliminary sales stages. Track record of attaining quota goals. What Sets You Apart Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing or a related field. At least 1 year of customer service, call center or inside sales experience. At least 1 year of experience in the automotive industry. Knowledge of marketing and sales concepts.
