Job Description and Duties
The Wildlife Conservation Board (WCB) is a public body with 7 appointed members and a 6-member Legislative Advisory Committee dedicated to preserving California's biologically diverse wild spaces for the benefit of present and future generations.
Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II performs a broad range of complex analytical tasks including fiscal review, auditing, internal processing, and reconciliation of all the Wildlife Conservation Board (WCB) capital outlay and local assistance project invoices including state and federally funded projects over several tracking platforms. Analyzes and recommends improvements to administrative procedures, updates procedures manuals, and performs a variety of business services functions including facilities coordination, contracting, telecom administration and procurement.
Personal Leave Program: Effective July 1, 2025, state employees are subject to temporary salary reductions ranging from 2% to 4.62% in exchange for Personal Leave Program (PLP) hours. Please note that the salary ranges listed in this Job Control may not reflect these reductions associated with the 2025 Personal Leave Program.

This position may be eligible for a telework opportunity in accordance with departmental policies and operational needs. Beginning July 1, 2026, employees will be required to work in-person at least four (4) days per week in alignment with Executive Order N-22-25. Additional in-office days may be required based on operational needs.

Working Conditions
Open spaced partitioned office with natural and artificial lighting. Ability to use a computer keyboard up to 8 hours a day, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
