Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Electrical Source | Accounting & Finance | Full-Time | On-Site | Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00am–5:00pm | 2820 N. Ontario Street, Burbank, CA 91504 Electrical Source is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, reconciliation, and process improvement initiatives. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accurate issuance of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), while providing internal reporting and financial analysis to support company goals and objectives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong technical accounting knowledge, and takes ownership of financial accuracy and process improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage month-end close reporting and reconciliation processes Perform general ledger account reconciliations and detailed account analysis Complete bank account reconciliations Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting activities Conduct financial and operational process audits Prepare and review financial statements Perform project-based financial analysis and reporting Identify and implement process improvement initiatives Support other accounting department objectives and special projects as assigned Performance Metrics Performance will be measured by: Achievement of established objectives and deadlines Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting Responsiveness to unexpected assignments and day-to-day operational demands Contribution to process improvement and operational efficiencies Overall professionalism and effectiveness during performance reviews Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required Three to five years of related accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP Fixed asset accounting experience required Sales tax and intercompany reconciliation experience required International accounting experience preferred Experience with Epicor & P21 a plus Knowledge & Skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Positive attitude and collaborative work style Compensation The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000 – $95,000 per year. Within this range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is bonus-eligible, with a target bonus opportunity based on company performance.
