Accounting Manager / Controller Salary: $100,000 – $115,000 Location: Teterboro, NJ (100% On-Site) Why This Opportunity Stands Out: High-visibility role with direct exposure to ownership and business decision-making Opportunity to fully own the accounting function rather than serving in a review-only capacity Stable, privately owned company with an established presence in the distribution industry Broad responsibilities across accounting, cash management, payroll, AR, AP, and financial reporting Ability to make a meaningful impact by strengthening processes and internal controls Work closely with external CPA partners and gain exposure to the full financial operations of the business Hands-on environment offering autonomy, responsibility, and long-term stability Opportunity to leverage both accounting and operational knowledge within a distribution setting Competitive compensation plus profit-sharing potential Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and paid time off Key Responsibilities: Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Maintain accounting records through trial balance and support month-end and year-end close activities Monitor cash flow, bank activity, positive pay processes, and account reconciliations Prepare financial reporting and coordinate with the outside CPA on accounting and tax-related matters Oversee customer payment processing, collections, credit management, and vendor payment activities Support inventory, billing, receiving, and distribution accounting processes while resolving discrepancies Qualifications: Experience as an Accounting Manager, Controller, Assistant Controller, or similar hands-on accounting professional Strong QuickBooks experience required Proven experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounting, and reconciliations Experience managing payroll, month-end close, and maintaining books through trial balance Experience working with an outside CPA and preparing financial reporting support Distribution, inventory accounting, VAM, and/or ADP experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Creative Financial Staffing, LLC
