Salary Range: $49,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment on-site.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of machinery according to schedules.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues.
• Document service activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards during all service operations.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement equipment improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, mechatronics) or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently to customer sites.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCST)
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin
• Familiarity with CMMS software (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Fiix)
• Prior experience training junior technicians or leading field service projects
