Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy adhering to California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) guidelines.

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, developing personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and therapeutic goals.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring timely updates and thorough record-keeping.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team when necessary, contributing to case consultations that lead to well-rounded care plans for clients.

• Participate in regular supervision sessions, as well as peer support groups, to further enhance clinical skills and methodologies.

• Uphold client confidentiality, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards in all aspects of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, allowing you to expand your therapeutic skills in various areas. Our caseload reflects a spectrum of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, and relationship conflicts. This role is pivotal in impacting the lives of individuals across California, helping them access the care they need.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required; newly licensed therapists may be considered for certain positions within the organization.

• Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong clinical skills in managing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions.

• Competence in maintaining detailed electronic health records (EHR) for client management.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
