Sous Chef

About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our upscale American bistro located in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership skills, and the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. Key Responsibilities Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations and menu planning. Supervise and coordinate food preparation and cooking activities. Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes served. Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed. Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to uphold culinary standards. Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in an upscale American bistro or fine dining restaurant. Strong knowledge of American cuisine and contemporary culinary techniques. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation.
