Construction Assistant Project Manager

Assistant Project Manager – Electrical ConstructionBLVD Electric Inc., a commercial electrical contractor with 150+ employees serving projects across California, is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Management and Field Operations teams. This role helps keep commercial electrical construction projects organized and moving from planning through closeout, working closely with Project Managers, field supervisors, general contractors, vendors, and engineers.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct project coordination and support to assigned Project ManagersTrack project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and open items through to resolutionPrepare, submit, and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project correspondenceMaintain accurate project logs and files, including drawings, specifications, and approvalsCoordinate procurement of materials and equipment, including purchase orders, lead times, and delivery schedulesCoordinate with subcontractors, vendors, field crews, and general contractors to ensure timely project deliveryConduct site visits to monitor progress, quality control, and safety complianceAssist with change order pricing, backup documentation, and cost/schedule impact trackingSupport project billing, schedule-of-values, and closeout documentation, including punch lists and as-builtsPrepare meeting notes, status reports, and project updates for stakeholders and senior managementRequirements1–3 years of construction project management experience, preferably in electrical or MEP tradesProcore proficiency is required; familiarity with Bluebeam or similar construction software a plusStrong understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specificationsExcellent organizational, time management, and communication skillsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferredAbility to work on-site in Woodland Hills, CA and travel to job sites as neededPay$20.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience.BenefitsHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance; 401(k) with matching; paid time off; retirement plan; parental leave; professional development assistance; employee assistance program; and employee discounts.About UsBLVD Electric Inc. is a trusted commercial electrical contractor with 150+ employees, proudly serving the greater Los Angeles area.
