BMT and Cellular Therapy Physician at The James Cancer Hospital The Division of Hematology at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital (OSUCCC‑James) is actively recruiting faculty physicians with a clinical interest in Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy. We are seeking candidates that will deliver excellent ambulatory and inpatient care while demonstrating a passion for clinical research and/or education. Academics and Faculty Rank: Faculty, Patient Care, Research, Academic/Administrative. Salary and start‑up package will be commensurate with experience. Candidates must be board‑certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology and must be able to meet Ohio medical licensure requirements. Responsibilities Provide ambulatory and inpatient care for BMT and Cellular Therapy patients. Participate in and lead investigator‑initiated and industry‑supported clinical trials. Educate trainees and support career development through mentorship. Qualifications MD, PhD and/or MD/DO with board certification in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. Board‑eligible or board‑certified. Current Ohio medical license or eligibility to obtain one. The Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program, led by Marcos de Lima, MD, focuses on developing novel therapeutics while delivering world‑class patient care. The program is FACT accredited, performs ~400 procedures yearly, and is a BMT‑CTN Core Clinical Center. Close to 60% of allogeneic transplant recipients are enrolled on a clinical trial. Large biorepositories are available and program members receive significant external, peer‑reviewed funding.
