Lincoln Assert Motion Physical Therapy & Wellness is actively seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) for our orthopedic outpatient practice located in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Our practice is tailored to individuals with orthopedic needs, and we prioritize a patient-centric approach that emphasizes quality, compassion, and evidence-based treatments. With a team consisting of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant, we work collaboratively to provide optimal rehabilitation solutions.

Work Environment

You will work onsite in our welcoming outpatient office environment, which is designed to facilitate hands-on patient care and therapeutic activity. Our facility is equipped with modern equipment and resources to support various rehabilitation programs. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while making a meaningful impact on patient health.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs efficiently, developing tailored treatment plans to meet their objectives and enhance their mobility.
• Manage a reasonable caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring dedicated attention to each individual's rehabilitation journey.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies focused on improving range of motion and overall mobility.
• Explore non-surgical options and reduce reliance on medications through comprehensive intervention techniques.
• Design and execute individualized care plans incorporating diverse therapeutic modalities and exercises.
• Encourage patients in their treatment journey, motivating them to achieve optimal functionality and independence.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to meet patient goals.
• Document all patient care services accurately, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and the importance of maintaining strength, flexibility, and overall fitness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals with orthopedic issues, which may include pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. By focusing on outpatient care, we provide our patients the crucial support they need to regain their functionality and improve their quality of life. Our emphasis on personalized care ensures that every client receives the attention and treatment suited to their unique needs.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist is essential.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license is expected.
• Strong background in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation practices.
• Proficient in creating and implementing exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
