Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' physical capabilities to assess functional mobility, pain levels, and rehabilitative needs, leading to the formulation of tailored treatment plans.
• Implement and monitor evidence-based interventions such as manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities aimed at pain reduction and improved functionality.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nursing staff, and other therapy specialists, to create cohesive care strategies that optimize recovery and enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, home exercise regimens, and preventive measures to extend recovery efforts beyond the clinical setting.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and adjustments in accordance with regulatory standards while utilizing practice management software for effective record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will encounter a diverse array of patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• Possession of a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Active Physical Therapy License in New Jersey.
• Strong clinical background with a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in outpatient or orthopedic settings.
• BLS/CPR certification valid for healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits
