Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing the unique needs of each client.

• Utilize validated evidence-based screening tools to inform treatment interventions and monitor client progress.

• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that reflect best practices in mental health care.

• Complete documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards, ensuring timely communication of essential client information.

• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain quality care standards and improve service delivery.

• Forge collaborative relationships with community partners, state agencies, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance service coordination and resource allocation.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities, including attending workshops, networking events, and contributing to relevant committees to stay abreast of current best practices in geriatric mental health.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director that enhance client care and organizational effectiveness.

This position centers around serving a geriatric population, providing essential counseling and mental health support to seniors dealing with a myriad of life transitions, including grief, chronic illness, loneliness, and mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) designation.
