Description What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory analysescovering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondadhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, diagnose errors, and perform calibration and preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and adequately prepare samples for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff and students, while maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe workspace while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health qualification with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of hire date.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification throughout employment.

• Ability to exercise independent judgment and troubleshoot in high-pressure situations.
