Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Woodcrest Wellness Oasis, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify immediate safety concerns for high-risk clients, ensuring that those at risk of homicide, suicide, or domestic violence receive urgent attention.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and developing tailored treatment plans that incorporate trauma and strengths-based perspectives.

• Guiding clients in establishing practical skills or strategies to meet their therapeutic goals and improve their overall mental health.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation within our electronic health record system, adhering to established guidelines to ensure compliance and quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult survivors of domestic violence and trauma, each with unique narratives and needs. This includes individuals who may be navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges, often requiring multidisciplinary approaches to their healing process. Your work will play a pivotal role in helping these clients process their experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and ultimately achieve a healthier state of mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
