Assistant Account Executive

Support EB Account Executives in coordination of projects and interfacing with clients and carriers to ensure exceptional customer service.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Account Executives & Account Executives with daily client management issues.
• Perform account maintenance including updates to client files, scanning and attachment of plan documents, Benefit Point, etc.
• Assists in the resolution of common account issues, i.e., claim, policy, eligibility, and service issues.
• Request, track, and upload Schedule As for client 5500 filings.
• Preparation of Annual Notice packets for clients.
• Benefit and census gathering/sorting for marketing, stewardship, persona, smart view reports.
• Assists with marketing proposals, paperwork, and presentation preparation.
• Revise/Edit and bind presentation materials as needed.
• Prepare open enrollment materials (C&D benefit guides, benefit spot mobile app, presentation, obtaining carrier collaterals).
• Assists with open enrollment meetings and client meetings as necessary for clients and prospective clients.
• Assists with coordination of Seminars, as appropriate.
• Develops and maintain positive relationships with insurance carriers and clients.
• Management of benefit portals, ie; TouchCare, Employee Navigator, etc.
• Assist Client and Account Executives with creating client websites using HRConnections.
• Assist Client and Account Executives utilizing MyWave.
• Performs other administrative functions as needed by Senior/Account Executives.

Knowledge/Skills & Abilities Required

• Minimum of 1 year experience in an Employee Benefits insurance environment.
• Valid Life & Health License.
• 4-year college degree a plus.
• Basic analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Accurate and high attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and with a sense of urgency.
• Able to work well in a team environment.

Complexity & Scope

• Supports Associate Account Executives, Account Executives, Senior Account Executives and Producers manage accounts.
• Manages low complexity account issues.
• May interface with clients and carriers.

The expected salary range for this position is $32.97/hr to $36.27/hr and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
