Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of individuals, couples, and families to identify their therapeutic needs.

• Facilitating therapy sessions that will include working with couples together and evaluating their dynamics in individual sessions as well.
\n
• Specializing in issues related to family dynamics and offering support for challenges such as:

\n
• Alcohol and substance abuse.
\n
• Physical and psychological abuse scenarios.
\n
• Grief and loss explorations.
\n
• Conflict resolution among family members, including siblings.
\n
• Addressing job stress and medical issues affecting family dynamics.
\n
• Consulting on blended family challenges arising from remarriage.
\n
• Guiding clients through separation and divorce, including adjustment processes.
\n
• Tackling communication difficulties, particularly between mother-daughter pairs.
\n
\n
• Maintaining client records, treatment plans, and progress notes that adhere to ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on a diverse client population, including adults and children/adolescents, often dealing with various family and individual challenges. This role is pivotal in shaping positive outcomes for families and promoting better interpersonal relationships through effective therapy.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
