TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR

QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED required Business School Graduate, preferred Experience as a transportation assistant, dispatcher or driver, preferred Experience developing bus routes, preferred Working knowledge of transportation routing software (Transfinder, preferred) Knowledge of State of New Jersey Transportation Contract Procedures and Forms, preferred Knowledge of word processing and database computer programs Experience with database system Realtime, preferred Ability to interact professionally with staff, parents and transportation agencies Possesses satisfactory verbal and written communications skills Must possess excellent organizational skills Holds a valid State of New Jersey driver's license Satisfactory health status Such alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable JOB GOAL To oversee the operation of the school transportation program and to ensure the safe and efficient transport of pupils.
