Registered Nurse Clinical Lead

Overview Ascension seeks a Registered Nurse Clinical Lead to oversee daily clinical operations, coordinate patient care, and support a compassionate, patient-centered environment. In this leadership role, you will mentor and guide nursing staff, ensure adherence to clinical protocols, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes. You will champion evidence-based practice, support quality and safety initiatives, and foster a culture of inclusivity, continuous learning, and innovation while promoting professional growth and development within the care team. Responsibilities Oversee daily clinical nursing operations on assigned unit or service line Coordinate and evaluate patient care to ensure high-quality, compassionate service Supervise, mentor, and coach nursing staff and support personnel Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care planning and delivery Ensure adherence to evidence-based practice, policies, and regulatory standards Monitor quality, safety, and patient experience metrics and drive improvements Assist with staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation for the unit Support onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of team members Promote a culture of inclusivity, respect, and continuous learning Participate in performance reviews, feedback, and corrective action as needed Clinical Responsibilities Clinical nursing practice and patient assessment Care coordination and discharge planning Medication administration and safety Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Leadership and staff supervision Quality improvement and patient safety practicesInterdisciplinary team collaboration Patient and family education Infection prevention and control Time management and prioritization Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred Clinical leadership or charge nurse experience Specialty certification in relevant field (e.g., Med‑Surg, Critical Care) preferred Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) Ascension is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Interfaco Ltd
