Facilities Coordinator Job Summary:

A Christian organization committed to improving the lives of all people in northern Kent County is looking for a facilities coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operation of the building and grounds, with emphasis on warehouse coordination and building equipment. The role requires a blend of technical skills, organizational abilities, and interpersonal skills to ensure the facility operates smoothly and efficiently. If you like working with your hands, fixing problems, and have maintenance experience, apply today!

Facilities Coordinator Requirements:

Coordinate with Thrift Store and Food Programming departments on warehouse organization, deliveries, pick-ups, food distributions, and special events
Grounds work, snow shoveling, and general support to the team
waste disposal and recycling program
Provide prompt response to requests and maintenance issues performing simple repairs throughout the building, connecting with outside vendors as needed

Schedule: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday- Thursday & 9am-1pm Friday

Pay: $20/hr

Facilities Coordinator Qualifications:

Ability to use power tools and basic tools
Must have your own vehicle, a valid driver's license and basic set of hand tools
Willingness to work outdoors and indoors and in all kinds of weather conditions
Previous apartment maintenance experience or construction experience is necessary
Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
Able to drive a Forklift
