About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance with a strong operational focus to support its Texas business and enhance the finance capabilities of its Dallas Service Center. This regional leadership role is pivotal in providing financial guidance, business analysis, and decision support to market leaders. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with Texas market presidents and facility leaders, leading forecasting, planning, and operational analysis, and developing a deep understanding of state reimbursement structures and industry dynamics. The role also involves supporting acquisition evaluation, financial modeling, and strategic growth decisions, as well as partnering with the operational controller on complex financial and technical accounting matters. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in public accounting and healthcare or multi-site operational finance. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, with a CPA being strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a robust knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, financial reporting, and healthcare finance operations, and demonstrate the ability to partner effectively with operational leaders and executive teams. Strong executive communication, analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and growth-oriented environment. Advanced Excel skills are required, and experience with Workday Financials is a plus.
