Data Coordinator

Overview START Center for Cancer Research is the world’s largest early phase site network dedicated to oncology clinical research, offering access to cutting edge trials across the United States and Europe. Location & Work Schedule Location: START San Antonio, 4383 Medical Dr., San Antonio, Texas 78229 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday8 am–5 pm or7 am–4 pm Essential Responsibilities Collect, enter/transcribe, and transmit/submit clinical data in paper and/or electronic CRFs, including correction and query resolution for assigned investigational drug studies. Receive and request patient records/data from the study team as required to complete CRFs. Review patient data for completeness and accuracy. Coordinate and schedule monitor visits, including exit meetings to review data or queries. Identify lab facilities used for studies and communicate to Regulatory Affairs for lab certification requests. Review protocols to guide study activities. Ensure data entry remains current for all assigned studies. Attend required meetings such as site initiation, monitor exit, close‑out visit, and audit preparation meetings. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED. Two years of clinical data entry experience. Knowledge and training in general office administration skills, including computer applications and filing systems. Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree. Ability to accurately perform data review and complete CRFs with minimal direction. Familiarity with medical terminology. CCRP or CCRC credentials highly desirable. Physical and Travel Requirements Travel required up to 10% of the time. Sitting for extended periods. Typing and computer use for extended periods.
