Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to establish client needs.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, cultural considerations, and therapeutic preferences.

• Employ a range of therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), in various formats including individual, couple, family, and group sessions.

• Provide ongoing crisis intervention and support, coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive care for clients experiencing acute distress.

• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation following clinic protocols and regulatory standards, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

• Empower clients and their families through psychoeducation, equipping them with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively manage their mental health.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to deliver integrated care across all levels of intervention.

• Regularly assess treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans to enhance effectiveness and promote positive results.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health to continuously improve clinical skills and service delivery.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport effectively with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
