Engagement Lead, Future Platforms (Accounting)

Location: New York, NY (in office 4-5 days per week)
Compensation: $160,000 - $230,000 + competitive equity
Employment Type: Full-time
Visa Sponsorship: Visa transfers and new sponsorship (H-1B, TN)
EliseAI improves housing and healthcare by integrating AI agents deeply into existing workflows, simplifying how renters tour, lease and request maintenance, and how patients schedule and complete intake.
EliseAI has raised $250M+ and is a later-stage (Series D+) company.
The RoleEliseAI is hiring Engagement Leads (5+ years in accounting software implementation and customer management) to deploy its back-office accounting products to enterprise customers. You will be a forward-deployed accountant, part consultant and part implementation expert, helping customers scope, configure and launch financial automation at startup speed.
What You Will Do- Manage customer engagements end to end with CFOs and finance teams deploying accounting and ERP products.
- Scope customer workflows and configure EliseAI's accounting software to fit.
- Own pre-sales and post-sales work for accounting products (GL, AP, AR, payroll, payments).
- Explain complex accounting and technical concepts clearly to customers.
- Move fast, take ownership and build processes from scratch.
- 5+ years of ERP or accounting software implementation (for example, Finance Transformation at a Big 4 firm, or at an accounting/ERP startup)
- Strong understanding of back-office accounting: GL, reconciliations, month-end close, AP/AR
- Proven customer management with senior finance stakeholders
- A builder mindset that does not need heavy structure
- Willingness to work on-site in NYC 4-5 days a week
