About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Grant Development to provide strategic leadership and management for its Office of Grant Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the comprehensive grant development, management, and funding strategy efforts in support of the company's strategic plan and priority initiatives. This includes overseeing the identification, pursuit, acquisition, and monitoring of external funding opportunities from various sources. The role also involves serving as the lead resource on grant strategy and administration, ensuring that external funding pursuits are aligned with the company's goals, operationally feasible, and compliant with all requirements. The Executive Director will collaborate with district leaders and external partners to maximize resources that enhance student outcomes and advance educational equity. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in grant development, resource development, public administration, education, nonprofit management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. The role requires a deep knowledge of grant development, proposal writing, and the grant lifecycle, as well as experience in securing competitive funding from various sources. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of public education systems and the challenges of serving a diverse student population. Key skills include the ability to develop and implement strategic funding plans, build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, lead teams, and manage staff. The Executive Director will also be responsible for training, capacity-building, and ensuring the effective implementation of grant-funded initiatives.
