Santander US is looking for the best talent to support our growth ambition and become future leaders through our 2027 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program.

Our Investment Banking team is part of the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Division of Santander. We provide leading service worldwide through an integrated approach that gives our clients access to the full range of Santander CIB Financial Services and integrated local teams.

Our Summer Analyst Program, beginning in June 2027, provides comprehensive training and introduction to Santander, CIB, and its capabilities. You will be combining this training with practical experience on both technical and interpersonal skills, helping your development during the internship.

The 2027 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program is for undergraduate students in a four-year program who have an anticipated graduation date of May/June 2028. Based in New York (NY), you will become part of an international business working with teams across different geographies.

Our program offers a unique experience in a global investment bank. We provide the skills and experience to become a thoughtful, strategic advisor. You’ll learn the nature of client service and how we build long-term relationships by putting their needs first, while developing the technical acumen to launch a career in CIB. You will be partnered with a mentor, who is able to provide you with guidance and advice throughout the Summer while immediately building your Santander network.

Whether it is raising capital for an expansion or buying another company, our Investment Banking teams provide innovative and creative financial solutions for all clients’ needs. Our teams are focused on developing long-term relationships and crafting strategies that help our clients grow and innovate. We provide sound advice, offer clients access funding, and execute transactions, all while helping clients manage risks in today’s complex environment. We work across teams to bring comprehensive solutions to clients’ challenges, allowing them to achieve their objectives and remain competitive across global markets.

• An undergraduate student in a four-year program with an expected graduation date of May/June 2028. 
• Cumulative GPA is 3.5 or above. 
• Highly motivated and results oriented with a desire to exceed expectations. 
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and courage. 
• Sharp communication skills with the ability to express facts and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing, interacting professionally, transparently, and effectively with people at all levels.
• Strong English communication skills both written and spoken required, foreign language skills are a plus. 
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills. 
• Strong critical thinking with the ability to develop solutions to complex challenges.
• Ability to multi-task as required. 
• Ability to work independently on special projects. 
• Ability to effectively contribute in a team environment. 

• Coursework in or exposure to finance, economics, accounting, or business. 
• Experience in Microsoft Office products. 

Work Authorization & Sponsorship

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to commence employment. 

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
