Associate Attorney - Transportation Defense

The successful candidate will manage cases from inception through resolution, working in a collaborative and inclusive environment. Duties Manage caseload from inception through resolution. Take and defend depositions. Prepare and file dispositive motions. Handle arbitrations and mediations. Prepare comprehensive status reports for insurers. Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Attend depositions, hearings, and trials. Ensure compliance with court deadlines and scheduling requirements. Develop and execute effective litigation strategies. Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare strategic memoranda. Requirements Admission to the New York State Bar. At least 5 years of experience in Transportation, Construction Litigation, and Tort Liability defense. Ability to draft and argue dispositive motions. Perform legal research and respond to discovery requests. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the New York State Bar. Skills Strong case management skills. Excellent communication and client interaction abilities. Proficiency in legal research and writing. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
