Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

DayTime Thur 09:30 PM - 05:30 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic locations to help observe visitor activity, support access control practices, and communicate concerns to site contacts when needed.
• Support loss prevention and other security-related operations by documenting observations, assisting with incident response, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
