Audit & Accounts Partner - Leeds

This role offers an outstanding opportunity to join a prominent regional mid‑tier practice in Leeds as an Audit & Accounts Audit Director or Partner (Responsible Individual – RI). The Leeds office is conveniently located for professionals commuting from regions across Yorkshire including York, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Shipley, and Wetherby. Responsibilities Manage a substantial portfolio of large, technically intricate SMEs and OMBs across diverse industry sectors. Oversee the entire audit process, including budgeting and adherence to timelines. Strategically plan staff assignments, ensuring appropriate technical expertise and scheduling for client engagements. Conduct thorough reviews of accounts and other deliverables prepared by Managers and team members. Support Managers in providing constructive feedback and conducting performance appraisals. Handle corporate clients beyond audit thresholds, managing complex issues such as cash flow forecasting and management accounts. Collaborate closely with the internal tax department on tax computations and corporation tax matters. Assist partners & directors with various ad hoc projects, including corporate finance initiatives such as due diligence and MBOs. Engage in business development activities to attract new audit and non‑audit clients through proactive client management and participation in pitching processes. Qualifications ACA/CA/ACCA qualified. Preferably holds Responsible Individual (RI) status. Up‑to‑date expertise in UK GAAP, IFRS, ISAs, and Companies Act legislation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
