Supervisory Medical Support Assistant

Job TitleMajor duties include, but are not limited:Assigns and evaluates the work of subordinate staff.Resolves complex problems to ensure patient services are met.Evaluates new products, equipment, and systems to make recommendations for improved operations.Identifies training needs of staff.Makes final decisions on hiring selections.Evaluates performance and takes disciplinary action when necessary.The incumbent has administrative and professional responsibility for planning and directing the subordinate lead, supervisor and MSA activities.Extracts and analyzes data to provide reports to senior leaders.Reviews reports, tracks performance measures and develops action plans for improvement when not meeting target measure for their areas of oversight.Performs other related duties as assigned.Work Schedule: Tour may vary, may include weekend, holidays, evening, etc.Compressed/Flexible: Not available.Telework: Not available.Virtual: This is not a virtual position.Functional Statement #: 00000Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not authorized.Permanent Change of Station (PCS): Not authorized.
