Our model focuses on ensuring those with end-stage renal disease receive the best possible care through a more convenient, centralized, continuous care model.Why is this Role Essential?The Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Compliance serves as Concerto's senior clinical leader, with primary ownership of quality assurance and regulatory compliance across all dialysis services - including survey readiness, QAPI programs, and policy governance - while also contributing clinical judgment to the company's broader care model and technology-enabled care pathways. The role requires a deep understanding of Concerto's nursing home dialysis model and centralized, continuous care approach, applying that understanding to regulatory and clinical decision-making.What Will You Do?Regulatory Compliance & Quality AssuranceEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing dialysis services, including CMS Conditions for Coverage for ESRD, HIPAA, and OSHA requirements.Own and drive survey and survey readiness end-to-end, serving as the primary point of contact for state and federal regulatory surveys and inspections.Own and drive the company’s QAPI (Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement) program in accordance with CMS ESRD Conditions for Coverage.Own and drive measurable improvement in patient outcomes, translating quality and compliance data into concrete action plans.Develop, implement, and track corrective action plans (CAPs) in response to survey findings, audits, or identified quality gaps.Oversee incident and adverse event reporting, investigation, and root cause analysis processes.Maintain and continuously update clinical policies, procedures, and compliance documentation across all facilities.Partner with legal counsel on regulatory risk management, licensure, and accreditation matters.Clinical Quality & SafetyOversee clinical quality improvement programs and infection control practices across all dialysis service locations.Guide the development and execution of clinical performance dashboards and KPIs to monitor quality, safety, and compliance trends.Provide executive oversight of clinical operations to ensure quality, safety, and positive patient outcomes.Cross-Functional Partnership & AccountabilityPartner with Operations to drive quality and compliance initiatives through to completion, taking shared ownership of outcomes rather than deflecting responsibility across teams.Build a collaborative, accountable working relationship with Operations leadership to resolve issues jointly and keep initiatives moving rather than stalling on cross-team handoffs.Clinical Strategy & Care Model InnovationContribute clinical and regulatory expertise to the company’s overall care strategy, ensuring alignment with compliance standards and organizational goals.Partner with technology and product teams to ensure tech-enabled clinical pathways, including digital health tools, meet applicable regulatory and quality standards.Support initiatives to personalize dialysis care, including individualized treatment plans, within an ESRD/HD compliance framework.Team Building & Clinical CultureRecruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing quality and compliance team, including nurses and care coordinators.Foster a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.External Engagement & Thought LeadershipRepresent the company in external forums, including partnerships with healthcare systems, payors, accrediting bodies, and policy groups.Stay abreast of emerging regulatory requirements and quality/value-based care frameworks in nephrology.You Might Be a Fit If You are…A strategic clinical leader with genuine executive presence who can represent Concerto credibly with regulators, surveyors, boards, and external partners.An ownership-minded leader who takes initiative to improve processes and partners closely with Operations to drive initiatives through completion.A collaborative team player and people leader who can build, develop, attract, and retain high-performing talent.Able to translate quality and compliance data into concrete action plans and measurable improvements in patient outcomes.Comfortable contributing clinical and regulatory expertise to care strategy, technology-enabled pathways, and value-based care initiatives.What’s Required?Minimum of 10 years of clinical leadership experience, with substantial focus in quality assurance and regulatory compliance - preferably in dialysis, kidney care, or chronic disease management.Demonstrated executive presence, with the ability to represent Concerto credibly and confidently with regulators, surveyors, boards, and external partners.Ability to develop a deep working understanding of Concerto’s nursing home dialysis model and centralized, continuous care approach and apply that understanding to clinical and regulatory decision-making.Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.Active RN licensure required.Deep knowledge of CMS Conditions for Coverage for ESRD, HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable federal and state healthcare regulations.Demonstrated experience leading survey readiness, regulatory audits, and corrective action planning.CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) or CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) certification preferred.Proven track record of leading clinical teams and driving improvements in care quality, safety, and operational efficiency.Experience with ESRD and HD, along with digital health, strongly preferred.Knowledge of dialysis reimbursement models and value-based care frameworks.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Requires travel between facilities.Must be able to perform light lifting of at least 20 lbs.Requires mental, visual, and auditory attention to patients, customers, and staff.Work environment is characteristic of a healthcare facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels.May be exposed to infectious and contagious disease/materials.Compensation: $160,000 - $200,000 annual salary.
