Tax Supervisor

One of our partner firms based in Long Island is seeking an experienced Tax Senior/Supervisor to join their tax practice. In this role, you’ll prepare accurate federal, state, and local individual tax returns while delivering a clear, caring, and client‑focused experience. Key Responsibilities Prepare a high volume of Form 1040 tax returns, including multi-state filings Handle returns with itemized deductions, Schedule C, Schedule E, and investment income Identify applicable deductions, credits, and tax‑saving opportunities Work directly with clients to gather information, clarify tax positions, and explain return results Stay current on tax law changes and IRS updates Prepare and calculate quarterly estimated tax payments for individual clients Qualifications 3-5 years of experience preparing individual tax returns Maintain clear, well-organized workpapers to support prepared returns Strong attention to detail and client‑service mindset Familiarity with tax software (Lacerte, CCH, Aiwyn) preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Elevate
