Work Environment\n

This role will allow you to work remotely while also having the option to engage with your clients in our welcoming outpatient office setting. Our team values flexibility, enabling you to manage your schedule effectively while ensuring you provide the best possible support to our clients. Regular work hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify individual care needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver high-quality individual and group counseling sessions that address the emotional and psychological challenges associated with aging and significant life transitions.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, social workers, and family members, to create cohesive care plans that enhance the overall well-being of geriatric clients.

• Provide education and support to families and staff regarding strategies to improve the emotional wellness and quality of life for elderly individuals.

• Facilitate grief and loss counseling sessions to assist clients and their families in coping with end-of-life issues empathetically and effectively.

• Implement evidence-based cognitive stimulation programs and mental health interventions designed to promote mental acuity and engagement among elderly individuals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
