Job Title: Production Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Production Technician to support our production lines by efficiently managing fluids and chemicals. This hands-on role requires a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment. You will be responsible for cleaning metal shavings from machine hoppers, checking and maintaining proper fluid levels, and performing fluid and oil changes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean metal shavings from machine hoppers.
• Check and refill coolant and fluid levels to maintain proper levels.
• Perform fluid and oil changes on production equipment.
• Monitor and track fluid levels accurately.
• Transport samples to the lab for testing and analysis.
• Maintain documentation using Microsoft Office, primarily Excel.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and used safely.
• Follow all safety protocols when handling chemicals.
• Stay on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Ability to work independently.
• Computer skills.
• Military experience.

Work Environment

Work in a heavy industrial environment with a team of three, with plans for growth. Shift hours are 7:00am to 7:00pm, with a schedule of four days on and four days off. Initial training occurs Monday through Friday on the day shift. Safety attire includes a hard hat, high visibility vest, gloves, long sleeve pants, and a long sleeve shirt.

This is a Permanent position based out of Crawfordsville, IN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Crawfordsville,IN.
