Vessel Closure Regional Sales Director - Southern California

Abbott seeks a Regional Sales Director for its Vessel Closure business in Southern California. This field-based leadership role oversees sales strategy, team management, and revenue growth across the vascular product portfolio, reporting to the Area Vice President.
Responsibilities
- Drive profitable growth and sales targets for Vessel Closure portfolio across specialty physician groups
- Lead, coach, and manage Account Managers and Clinical Specialists team members
- Develop commercial sales strategy aligned with marketing initiatives and execute market contracting efforts
- Establish performance standards, individual development plans, and conduct regular performance reviews
- Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity, and sales strategy effectiveness; ensure compliance with company policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
- 5-7+ years of related work experience
- 50% travel capability within assigned region
- Sales management experience in medical device industry preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coach teams
- Strong contract negotiation and customer relationship skills
Compensation: $113,300–$226,700 base
