About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Compliance to join their legal team. The successful candidate will be a senior leader responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of the enterprise-wide compliance program, with a focus on regulatory compliance and ethics. This role requires a strategic business partner who can build a strong compliance culture across a geographically distributed organization. Key responsibilities include program management, conducting risk assessments, managing regulatory relationships, and driving a culture of integrity. The Vice President, Compliance will also be involved in cross-functional advisory, program governance, and will be the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) or relevant advanced degree, with a preference for J.D. and active membership in a state bar association. A minimum of 15 years of progressive compliance, regulatory, or related legal experience is required, with at least 5 years in a senior compliance leadership role. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or building products industries is a plus. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills, and a proven track record in building and leading high-performing compliance teams. Familiarity with compliance technology platforms and experience with the DOJ Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs framework is also essential. The role demands a professional with a strong ethical standard, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to the company's core values and corporate goals.
