Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, providing flexibility for our LCSW while ensuring that they can effectively connect with families and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. As part of the early intervention efforts, the LCSW will engage with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to assess needs and enhance learning environments for young children within educational settings.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children to measure developmental progress and identify areas of need.

• Actively participate in the creation and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) to guide care and interventions tailored to each child's unique requirements.

• Monitor outcomes and progress for children, collaborating with a team of professionals to adjust strategies as needed to ensure positive developmental trajectories.
\n
• Provide ongoing support and counseling to families, empowering them to engage in their child’s developmental journey actively.

• Administer standardized evaluations and assessments in compliance with all Federal and State regulations.
\n
• Build rapport with children and families to foster trusting relationships conducive to a supportive and effective learning environment.

• Utilize various methodologies and tools to cater to different learning styles, enhancing individualized treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on young children from newborns up to three years of age who exhibit developmental delays or disabilities. The LCSW will work with families to provide supportive services that facilitate the holistic development of their children. Understanding the complexities of family dynamics and cultural contexts is essential, as this position requires a nuanced approach to service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate in Social Work is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health is mandatory.

• A valid driver’s license is necessary for occasional visits and meetings.

• Proficient in adapting treatment strategies to address varied learning styles and developmental needs of children.

• A minimum of two years of experience working directly with children in early intervention settings is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
