Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments for students to identify their social, emotional, and environmental challenges impacting their academic performance and overall well-being.

• Develop individualized service plans that outline specific goals, interventions, and methods for progress monitoring, ensuring they cater to the unique needs of each client.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions as well as family group therapy to support those dealing with anxiety, trauma, and other life challenges.

• Collaborate with clients, their families, and school staff to create personalized service plans that connect students with appropriate community resources and support systems.

• Offer crisis intervention strategies and conduct risk assessments to ensure client safety, employing safety planning techniques as necessary.

• Engage with community agencies and organizations to coordinate services effectively and advocate on behalf of our clients.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote agency services, increase awareness, and educate the community on mental health issues.

• Contribute to case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing staff training sessions to enhance collaborative practice and service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds facing a variety of challenges, including but not limited to those related to academic performance, relationship issues, trauma exposure, behavioral problems, and mental health crises. By offering tailored interventions and support, you will help empower these students to develop coping strategies, improve life skills, and build resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
