Practical Nursing Instructor - Clinicals (Adjunct) - Adult Workforce Development

Practical Nursing Instructor (Adult Workforce Development) Part‑time faculty to provide instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings for an adult practical nursing program. Expertise in medical‑surgical, pediatrics, maternity, or mental health nursing is a plus. Responsibilities Deliver instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. Develop lesson plans and teaching materials. Conduct student evaluations and maintain records. Plan and deliver clinical experiences. Collaborate with faculty and committees to maintain academic standards. Supervise and evaluate students. Adapt teaching methods to meet student needs. Maintain currency in nursing practice and education. Perform additional duties as assigned and ensure regular, reliable attendance. Qualifications Completion of an approved RN education program. At least two years of experience as an RN. Specialty experience in medical‑surgical, pediatrics, maternity, or mental health nursing preferred. Functional ability to teach in classroom, clinical, and laboratory settings. Excellent communication and teaching skills. BSN preferred; ADN/RN diploma with experience encouraged. Current, valid Ohio RN license. Location Health Professions Academy at Scarlet Oaks Career Campus. Schedule As needed; hours vary. Compensation $36.73 per hour; no benefits.
