A mid-sized hospital in Brooklyn seeks a licensed pharmacist to join their team on a 13-week contract with an ASAP start. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with hospital experience who is comfortable working night shifts and is eager to contribute to quality pharmaceutical care in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring compliance and safety
- Manage pharmacokinetics to optimize patient treatments
- Provide consultative support to physicians and nurses on medication therapies
- Utilize pharmacy systems such as EPIC and Pyxis to streamline operations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- New York pharmacist license required
- Prior hospital pharmacy experience essential
- Ability to work night shifts effectively
- Familiarity with EPIC pharmacy systems is a strong plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with clinical staff
Schedule:
